During the
past decade, several eminent scholars have visited the department under
Visiting fellowships and Distinguished lecture
series.

2006-07,
Hon'ble
J.S.verma
former Chief
Justice Supreme Court
and
Shri Bhattacharya
Commissioner
Income Tax
visited the
Manuscript Resource Centre of the Department. They also saw the
publications of the department and were appraised with various activities
going on in the department. Shri Bhattacharya appreciated the efforts the
department has put in the preservation of the manuscripts and publications
