RECOGNITION BY THE UGC

The department has been recognized by

University Grants Commission, New Delhi,

for DRS under the SPECIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME (SAP)

for work in the following areas from 1994-95

(I) Nāṭya-Śāstra.
(II) Computational Linguistics
(III) Modern Sanskrit Literature


There are a number of research projects have been completed or are in progress in these areas.
